Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions dedicated to enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to formulate unified care approaches.
• Provide thorough education to patients and families to support their journey beyond clinical settings.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Uphold meticulous documentation practices that comply with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of starting.
