Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized assessments and insightful observations.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate goals and the long-term needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage in holistic care by collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caretakers to tailor cohesive care programs.
• Empower patients and their families with education and resources to reinforce progress beyond therapy.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapy sessions to ensure seamless care throughout the patient journey.
• Maintain precise and punctual documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Commit to ongoing education and peer engagement to remain at the forefront of industry advancements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-hire.
