Description

- Facilitate individualized speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members, to construct unified care approaches.
- Provide educational resources to patients and their families to support progress during off-therapy time.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, promoting continuity of care throughout each patients journey.

Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
Certifications
- State license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
