Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 public school setting in Anoka, MN. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 5, 2025, approximately 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing speech and language therapy services primarily to middle and high school students, with a caseload of about 30 students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescent populations and possess strong organizational skills to handle the responsibilities of caseload management and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students to support communication development Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, identifying needs and tracking progress Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals through IEP meetings and ongoing communication Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, goals, and therapy sessions Potentially serve as a case manager for students, coordinating services and supports as needed Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-age children, especially middle and high school populations Familiarity with IEP processes and education-related special needs Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently Work Schedule and Environment: Start time for staff at 7:20 AM; student day begins between 7:50 AM and 8:05 AM Student day ends at 3:00 PM; IEP meetings may extend workday until approximately 3:45-4:00 PM Contract aligned with the academic school year calendar This opportunity offers professional growth in a dynamic educational environment while making a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities.
