The position is a contract role spanning the 2024-2025 school year with one opening available. The SLP will collaborate with educational teams to deliver therapy and support students' communication needs. Key Details: Location: Andover, MN area Contract Duration: September 2, 2024, to June 5, 2025 Weekly Hours: Approximately 37.5, dependent on caseload management, attendance at IEP meetings, and therapy responsibilities Daily Schedule: Start time at 7:20 AM; student day begins between 7:50 and 8:05 AM and ends at 3:00 PM; IEP meetings may extend to 3:45 or 4:00 PM Caseload: Approximately 30 students Population Age Range: Middle school and high school students Responsibilities include: Conducting speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy sessions Managing caseload documentation and progress notes efficiently Serving as case manager for students as needed Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff through IEP meetings and planning Implementing targeted interventions to support student communication and academic success Desired Qualifications: ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate state licensure Experience working with middle and high school populations Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage caseload and multitask between therapy and administrative duties Collaborative approach to team-based educational support This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experience by enhancing their communication abilities and supporting their academic goals.
