Therapy Manager Jobs in Kentucky
A Therapy Manager is a crucial figure in the therapeutic industry who oversees and manages all activities and operations within a therapeutic facility. This includes overseeing therapy services and programs, managing therapy staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a high standard of care for patients. They may also be involved in developing and implementing strategic plans, budgeting, and promoting the facility's services. A Therapy Manager must possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and should have a deep understanding of therapeutic practices and principles.
Before becoming a Therapy Manager, an individual may have roles such as a Therapist, Senior or Lead Therapist, or Therapy Supervisor. In terms of qualifications, they should have a degree in a therapeutic or related field, and some positions may require a master's degree. They should have relevant certifications such as licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist. Furthermore, they should have several years of experience providing therapy services and some experience in a managerial or supervisory role. Being certified in CPR and first aid and having knowledge of relevant software and technology used in therapeutic services may also be necessary.
