Scion Nonprofit Staffing, Inc., a full-service staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for an Audiologist for our client, a nonprofit organization located in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for an expert diagnostician who loves helping people of all ages hear better through the use of the latest hearing technology!

Responsibilities

Performs Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Electronystagmography (ENG), Electrocochleography (ECoG), Auditory Steady State Response (ASSR), Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Tympanometry, Audiological Evaluations, ETD testing and acoustic reflex threshold and tone decay testing.

Provides amplification services including, hearing aid assessment testing, real ear measurements and live speech mapping.

Coordinates care with physicians and other providers.

Ensures proper documentation and authorizations are collected prior to providing services or products to a patient.

Makes recommendation regarding hearing care options.

Reviews products available to improve hearing impairment.

Provides hearing aid dispensing, including selection, fitting, ear-mold acoustics, ongoing management with follow-up and education.

Qualifications

Doctorate degree in Audiology

Experience with EMR systems a plus

Strong software and equipment experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare databases (Salesforce a plus)

Current state and national certification (Required)

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility (Required)

Must complete background check and all requirements for working in a medical and childcare center
