Soliant is seeking intrepid Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work with small communities in the High Desert. This is a great opportunity for adventurous Speech Pathologists who want to live in more rural communities, and who want to really make a difference in students' lives.
What makes a travel contract?
Do you have a primary residence 75+ miles from Fort Irwin, CA?
Do you plan to return periodically to this residence in the calendar year?
If yes, you qualify for a tax-free living allowance, which will boost your finances while on assignment.
Compensation and benefits:
Weekly pay of $2,250 (after taxes)
Health, vision and dental insurance
Employer matched 401(k)
Licensure and CEU reimbursement
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, candidates will:
Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
Update progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs

Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic and drive to support student success
Ability to collaborate with co-workers and student families
Problem-solving skills
