We provide individualized services for families and their children with unique developmental needs in Skagit County, WA. SPARC is seeking a highly motivated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our growing team.

**SUMMARY

**Specialized in diagnosis and treatment of speech and language problems by performing the following duties

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- Must hold a master's degree in speech pathology and have a valid Washington state license in speech pathology.

- Previous experience with young children and/or children with disabilities is strongly recommended to ensure competency and knowledge in: program planning, development and coordination for children with wide range of handicapping conditions and abilities. Needs to be familiar with the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) which regulates special education services.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

Master's degree in Speech Pathology / Communication Disorders

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required or in process. Washington State License in Speech Pathology, an Educational Staff Associate License for the State of Washington, a current CPR and First Aid Certificate, Food Handler's Permit (or to be scheduled for completion within SPARC personnel guidelines.)
