Join our mission to provide exceptional virtual speech-language services to Kentucky students across all grade levels! We're expanding our remote therapy team and seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists ready to embrace innovative teletherapy delivery.
Position Structure
Full-time remote opportunity involving 35-37.5 hours per week with a diverse K-12 caseload of 50-60 students. Multi-level service delivery requires versatility and expertise in addressing communication needs across developmental stages from early childhood through adolescence.
Diverse Student Needs
Serve students with varying communication challenges including speech sound disorders, language impairments, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and complex medical conditions affecting communication. Virtual therapy proves effective across diagnostic categories.
Therapeutic Responsibilities
- Perform age-appropriate comprehensive evaluations
- Develop differentiated therapy approaches for various grade levels
- Implement evidence-based interventions via secure virtual platform
- Adapt therapeutic materials for virtual delivery across age groups
- Coordinate services with educational teams and families
- Monitor student progress using objective measurement tools
- Provide professional consultation to school personnel
Professional Standards
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Kentucky speech-language pathology license
- Minimum 2 years school system experience
- Demonstrated flexibility working with diverse populations
- Virtual therapy platform proficiency preferred
- Strong problem-solving and adaptation skills
Multi-Level Expertise
Ability to transition seamlessly between age groups, adjusting therapeutic approach, materials, and communication style to meet developmental needs of students ranging from kindergarten through high school.
Professional Development
Ongoing training opportunities in virtual therapy innovations, evidence-based practices across age groups, and specialized intervention techniques for diverse communication disorders.
