Position Details Position: School Speech Language Pathologist Location: Pierce County, WA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 36.5 hours/week Duration: School Year Role Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, addressing communication challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, and language development. Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language needs and develop individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies that support student success in the classroom and beyond. Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Connect students with community resources and support services as needed.
