Full-Time OT Opportunity Support Student Growth in Elizabeth, NJ Classrooms

Elizabeth Public Schools is looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential services that support students' motor skills and independence in academic settings. This position offers a collaborative environment and the chance to impact students daily learning experiences directly.

Position Summary:
As a school-based OT, youll evaluate student challenges, create treatment plans aligned with IEPs, and help students access the curriculum through improved physical and functional abilities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct OT evaluations in accordance with IDEA and district guidelines

• Deliver direct and consultative services per student IEPs

• Support fine motor development, sensory integration, and adaptive skills

• Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support student success

• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

• Educate staff and families on therapy strategies and tools

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• NJ Department of Education Educational Services Certificate (OT Endorsement)

• School or pediatric experience strongly preferred

• Solid interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Caseload: K12 students (assigned by district needs)
