Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we're hiring a full time Speech-Language Pathologist in Huntington. The caseload consists of 6 hours in our Huntington outpatient clinic with potential to build, and the remaining hours doing homecare across Suffolk County. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, School-Age, Voice, Feeding, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc. *Unfortunately, we are not accepting CFs at this time due to inability to bill for Medicare B services. Requirements Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York TSSLD Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course) Salary Description 70,000-75,000
