Occupational Therapist Support Student Success in Edison Township Schools

Edison Township School District is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students build the functional and adaptive skills necessary for learning and independence. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team committed to empowering every learner.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student abilities, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports participation in daily school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and create clear, thorough reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, and self-care skills

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation to comply with state and district requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
