Occupational Therapist Opportunity Join Edison Township Schools Full-Time

Edison Township School District is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop the fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills needed for success in school and daily activities. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that fosters participation and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare clear, comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans that align with IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, self-care skills, and sensory processing needs

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
