Passaic City Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students develop essential communication skills for academic success and social engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, student-focused team.

About the Role:
As an SLP, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions that promote growth and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports

  • Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives

  • Provide intervention targeting articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage consistent progress

  • Attend IEP meetings to share recommendations and updates

  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active New Jersey SLP License

  • New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based SLPs

  • ASHA CCC preferred

  • School or pediatric experience strongly valued

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
