Kenton County Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills that are essential for learning and daily life. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, student-focused team.
Position Overview:
As an OT, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to participate confidently in school.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Address fine motor coordination, self-help skills, and sensory processing
Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress
Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License
Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
