Kenton County Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills that are essential for learning and daily life. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to participate confidently in school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

  • Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

  • Address fine motor coordination, self-help skills, and sensory processing

  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress

  • Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

  • Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License

  • Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
