Full-Time School OT Position Open Build Student Independence in Kenton County

Kenton County Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy and evaluations that help students gain essential skills for success in the classroom and everyday activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team dedicated to empowering young learners.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and challenges, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports participation and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare thorough reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address fine motor coordination, self-care skills, and sensory integration

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth

• Attend IEP meetings to provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records that comply with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
