Passaic City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills that will serve them for life. Join a dedicated team focused on creating positive learning experiences.
About the Position:
As an SLP, youll evaluate student abilities, develop targeted treatment plans, and provide therapy to address a wide range of speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and produce clear, actionable reports
Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each students IEP goals
Provide intervention for articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and pragmatic skills
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress
Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations
Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active New Jersey SLP License
New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based SLPs
ASHA CCC preferred
Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Position Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district priorities)
