Hardin County Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students build the fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills they need for success in the classroom and daily life. Join a collaborative team committed to empowering every learner.
Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports independence and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Address fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Attend IEP meetings to share recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License
Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
