Two Speech Language Pathologist Positions Middle School & Elementary Age Groups
Location: Cicero, IL (with services also supporting Dual Language School overflow)
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
Duration: Contract for the current school year
These speech language pathologist roles are designed for professionals holding either the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP certification, serving students in grades 6 through 8 primarily at a middle school setting. The positions require a Professional Educators License to deliver quality speech and language interventions to middle school and elementary-aged students, including those in self-contained classrooms.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-8, including two self-contained classrooms within the building
- Supporting overflow caseloads at the School of Dual Language with speech-language needs
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintaining detailed and compliant records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to students educational goals
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP credentials
- Professional Educators License
- Experience working with middle school and/or elementary students
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs, including self-contained classroom environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
