This full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position provides services within a K-12 school setting for the 25/26 school year. The role is based in Sidney, OH, and requires delivering specialized OT support to PreK-12 students throughout the academic year on a contract basis.
Qualified candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid State Board of Education Pupil Services Permit as well as a current Ohio Professional Board license. Experience working in home health, healthcare, and school OT settings is highly valuable for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students PreK through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and comply with school policies and licensure requirements.
- Conduct evaluations and participate in student IEP meetings as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio Professional Board license for Occupational Therapy.
- State Board of Education Pupil Services Permit or ability to obtain.
- Experience delivering OT services in school and healthcare environments beneficial.
