Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel contract job in Erie, PA. This 13-week assignment takes place in a busy Level I Trauma Center, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and acute patient population. The ideal candidate is adaptable, experienced in critical care, and comfortable with a rotating day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Location: Erie, PA

• Setting: Hospital Level I Trauma Center

• Discipline: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

• Shift: 12-hour days | Rotating between 6:30 AM 7:00 PM and 10:30 AM 11:00 PM

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, bronchodilators, and airway clearance

• Respond to emergency situations including codes and rapid responses

• Perform ventilator management and weaning in ICU settings

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans

• Accurately document therapy and patient progress

Qualifications

• Required: RRT or CRT credential from NBRC and BLS (AHA)

• License: Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner license, or willingness to obtain

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care, with critical care or trauma experience preferred
