Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel contract job in Erie, PA. This 13-week assignment is based at a Level I Trauma Center, offering the opportunity to work with a high-acuity patient population in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ideal candidates are confident in critical care settings and comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

• Location: Erie, PA

• Setting: Hospital Level I Trauma Center

• Discipline: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

• Shift: 12-hour nights | 6:30 PM 7:00 AM

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and oxygen therapy

• Manage ventilators and monitor respiratory status in ICU, ER, and general care units

• Respond to emergency calls including codes and rapid responses

• Document interventions and collaborate with care teams to develop treatment plans

Qualifications

• Required: RRT or CRT credential from NBRC and BLS (AHA)

• License: Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner license, or willingness to obtain

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospital-based respiratory care, including critical care and emergency response
