This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to support childrens hearing health and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological assessments for students
- Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and maintenance support
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized hearing support plans
- Educate students, parents, and staff on hearing health and assistive listening devices
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- State licensure to practice Audiology in Missouri
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
