The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.

Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required or in Clinical Fellow Year
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Modality:
Speech Language Pathologist OR CF-SLP
Grade Level & Classroom Type (General, Inclusion, Self Contained, etc.)
All grades needed
Caseload Details:
35-50 students on caseload depending on service minutes. This can alternate but will not go above 50. bulk of SPED population is learning disabilities and OHI(ADHD).Classroom Support:
Day to Day Duties:
Therapy type services. will write IEPs
Group or 1:1 support (Paras, BTs, Nurses):

Start & End Date:
2025-2026 SY first day of school is 8/18 but possibly sooner once they establish training for SLPs. They have a lot of training set up for all new hires to learn their systems and do refreshers on things. will consider hybrid and virtual!!Start & End Time:
will work 32.5 hours/wk. times are broken up into 3 tiers (7am-2pm, 8am-3pm, and 9am-4pm) they let SLP pick up to 2 different schedules per weekBenefits
