A K-12 school in Mount Vernon, WA, is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide specialized support and services on a contractual basis. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and manage auditory issues to promote optimal learning and communication within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and audiological evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized hearing support plans.
- Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations and interventions.
- Monitor and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Provide counseling and education to students and families regarding hearing health.
- Document and report findings in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
