Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Advance Student Communication Through Virtual Therapy Join our innovative remote education initiative as a Speech Language Pathologist, delivering essential communication services to students throughout Ohio's virtual learning networks. This position offers professional fulfillment while providing flexible remote work arrangements and meaningful student impact. Position Framework Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll support a caseload of approximately 45-55 students across various grade levels through virtual therapy platforms. This remote role enables you to provide specialized speech and language services while maintaining professional standards and building strong therapeutic relationships with students and families. Essential Duties Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments of speech and language abilities
Develop evidence-based treatment plans aligned with educational objectives
Provide direct therapy services through secure video conferencing systems
Document student progress and adjust interventions based on outcomes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Participate in virtual IEP development and review processes
Educate families on communication strategies and home practice activities
Ensure compliance with special education laws and professional standards
Professional Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Valid Ohio speech-language pathologist license
Minimum 2 years experience in educational settings
Proficiency with virtual therapy technologies and digital platforms
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Adequate technology infrastructure for remote service delivery
Student Services You'll serve students with various communication needs including speech sound disorders, language delays, pragmatic language difficulties, and alternative communication requirements. Our virtual model reaches students in diverse communities, ensuring access to specialized services for those with developmental delays, hearing impairments, and other conditions affecting communication development.
