Advanced Pediatric Therapies, LLC is the most comprehensive provider of pediatric services (birth to age 18) in Northern Nevada! All of these providers work together, under the same roof, bringing high quality outcomes to families and their children:

Responsibilities include evaluation, screening and treatment (individual and small group), parent training/education, transition skills from community to home, correspondence with other paraprofessionals and PLAY! We provide birth-3 early intervention services in community and home settings and outpatient therapy services for children/adolescents over the age of three in our clinic. Within our clinic we provide Speech, PT, OT, behavioral and mental health therapies as well as a classroom/clinic-based ABA program! All clinicians have access to our art, science, sensory and motor gym rooms as well as private 1:1 rooms. Our setting supports all different learners! Continuing education opportunities provided year-round for clinicians! We are a very community focused Team that participates in different community outreach opportunities while also expanding our knowledge and access to resources available for the families we work with. This setting is perfect for the seasoned SLP or the newer, highly motivated to learn SLPs. Endless opportunities to support families through testing, diagnosis, treatment models, AAC access, feeding and much more! At Advanced Pediatric Therapies we provide services to families Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. We offer schedules that are full day (four 10-hour days, with 3-day weekends), partial days (AM or PM options), just a few days a week or traditional work week (Monday-Friday). We are able to design a schedule that meets your preference! ** 30 hours or more is considered full time in the State of Nevada.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid NV state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
Experience in a relevant clinical setting is a plus, but not required - we can support you through learning!
Strong understanding of developmental and disordered speech, language, and swallowing/feeding disorders and their causes.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compassionate and patient-centric approach to care.
