Description

  • Deliver individualized speech therapy techniques that target speech clarity, language skills, fluency issues, voice modulation, and swallowing concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to formulate comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families to enhance treatment progress beyond the clinical environment.
  • Help with occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and sessions to guarantee seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines set forth by state and federal regulations and organizational mandates.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and peer interaction to stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.
