Job Description

• Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to advance patients motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded and comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families about therapy methods to facilitate continuous progress beyond the clinic
• Monitor and Record Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on the right path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and provided

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
