Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and create individualized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a diverse team of OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to encourage sustained progress at home.
• Track and Adjust Treatment Protocols: Monitor progress and document outcomes, modifying treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Continuing education and additional certifications are supported and encouraged.

Licenses

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) .
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
