Advanced Hearing Ontario Audiologist Sign in to apply Durham, CA Sign in to apply Job Description BASIC FUNCTION: Determines type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habilitation and rehabilitation services for patients by performing the following duties: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnostic Audiological tests (air and bone conduction audiometry, speech in noise testing), speech audiometry, immittance testing and otoscopy. Providing appropriate referral recommendations. Audiological assessments for all ages (toddlers to geriatrics) Provide appropriate counseling, communication strategies, and solutions. Prescribe, select, fit and verify, modify, repair appropriate amplification. Ear impressions for all ages (infants to geriatrics) Provide a high standard of patient care. Remain current with hearing aid technology. Comply with CASLPO. To work with the front office staff with walk-in patients. May conduct advanced diagnostic testing such as ABR testing & OAEs testing. To work within a team environment . Attend scheduled meetings. As health care providers, we pride ourselves on helping the residents of our communities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : Minimum education is a Master's Degree in Audiology or equivalent and must be registered in good standing with CASLPO. Current knowledge of hearing health care products and services is an asset.
