This role supports student development by implementing occupational therapy plans designed to enhance learning and participation within the school environment. The position runs on a Contract School Year (CSY) basis, offering the opportunity to contribute to student progress throughout the academic calendar. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on K-12 students. Provide tailored interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and therapy effectiveness. Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families. Knowledge of educational therapy best practices and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy services in schools. Ability to follow a structured school-year schedule.
