Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Michigan state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to an inclusive, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, swallowing, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress, maintain therapy records, and provide ongoing reports to staff and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Consult with families and educators to support carryover of skills
- Remain current on best practices and professional standards in speech-language pathology
