Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Fridays, 8:00am - 12:30pm
• Occasional weekend requirement for acute care evaluations (every 5 weeks)

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license (required at submission)
• American Heart Association BLS certification (must be current and provided)
• Minimum two years of recent PT experience; hospital background preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in outpatient therapy practice
• Experience supervising PT assistants and aides
• Strong communication skills and patient education abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and implement evidence-based, medically prescribed physical therapy programs
• Promote improved mobility, reduce pain, and support functional independence through targeted treatments
• Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and restorative therapy
• Develop individualized plans that focus on rehabilitation and wellness
• Supervise and mentor support staff within the therapy department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Provide occasional coverage for acute care evaluations as needed
