Physical Therapist in Mc Bee, SC

Physical therapists play a vital role in helping individuals regain mobility, manage pain, and improve function through evidence-based treatment programs. In this hospital-based contract role, you will evaluate patients, design and implement therapeutic interventions, and educate them on strategies for prevention, recovery, and overall wellness. Your expertise will make a difference in both outpatient and occasional acute care settings, supporting patients of all ages.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM 12:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations (every 5 weeks)

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina physical therapy license (must be attached to resume)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent physical therapy experience, with hospital experience preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must be included in submission packet)
• Outpatient experience required
• Ability to supervise assistants and aides in the delivery of treatment

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough evaluations and develop patient-specific treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote movement, reduce pain, and restore function
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and ergonomics
• Supervise and provide guidance to PT assistants and aides
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care outcomes
