  • Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the clinic.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure a seamless care continuum.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
