Description

- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on all facets of communication, including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nursing staff, families, and caregivers to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide educational resources for patients and families, empowering them to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and speech interventions to ensure seamless care continuity.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation practices in compliance with health regulations and organizational policies.

Education
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist is mandatory.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within the first month of employment.
