Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support at an elementary school serving grades 4 and 5. This contract position, based in Portland, ME, offers approximately 13 hours of direct service weekly, with scheduling flexibility Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to approximately 14 students requiring direct services. Manage a caseload of around six students with individualized treatment plans. Provide consultative services for one student once monthly. Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure integrated, effective communication interventions. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting. Strong ability to manage multiple cases and balance direct and consultative services. Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families. Location and Schedule: Location: Portland, ME. School: Serving grades 4 and 5 at one elementary school site.
