This contract position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language support to young learners in a dynamic school environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational and professional standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing appropriate goals and accommodations Desired Qualifications: Current certification and licensure as an SLP or SLPA, with experience working in school settings Strong knowledge of speech-language development, disorders, and treatment strategies appropriate for elementary-aged children Ability to engage and motivate students through tailored therapy techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with educational regulations and documentation requirements Location: Groton, CT
