Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school district in Mystic, CT is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support during a maternity leave at an elementary school. This temporary contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to student development in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language assessments, treatment, and progress monitoring for elementary students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs). Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with service delivery. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as appropriate. Qualifications & Experience: Valid SLP or SLPA certification/licensure as required by the state. Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and educational staff. Demonstrated knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic interventions. Location: Position based in Mystic, CT at an elementary school.
