We're seeking bilingual Speech Language Pathologists who understand the unique communication needs of English language learners and are committed to providing equitable access to communication support. This remote position offers the opportunity to serve diverse communities while maintaining professional flexibility. Bilingual Program Overview This virtual therapy position specializes in providing speech and language services to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds through our culturally responsive online platform. You'll work with students who are English language learners while collaborating with families and educational teams to ensure comprehensive communication support that honors cultural and linguistic diversity. Clinical Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive bilingual speech and language evaluations
Differentiate between language difference and language disorder
Develop culturally responsive treatment plans that support both languages
Provide therapy services in both English and Spanish as appropriate
Collaborate with ESL teachers and bilingual education staff
Support families in understanding communication development in bilingual children
Participate in virtual IEP meetings with interpretation support as needed
Maintain detailed documentation of bilingual assessment and intervention services
Service Delivery Model 36-40 hours per week of clinical and administrative responsibilities
Caseload of 45-55 students with diverse linguistic backgrounds
Flexible scheduling to accommodate family and community needs
Support for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication in both languages
Individual and group therapy sessions utilizing culturally appropriate materials
Collaboration with bilingual education teams and community liaisons
Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program
Current New Mexico state licensure or ability to obtain
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Minimum 2 years of school-based experience with bilingual populations
Fluency in Spanish and English with cultural competency
Knowledge of bilingual language development and assessment practices
Strong family engagement and cultural responsiveness skills
Bilingual Service Requirements Dedicated home office with culturally inclusive materials and resources
High-quality webcam and audio equipment for clear communication in both languages
Reliable high-speed internet connection for virtual sessions
Access to bilingual assessment tools and therapy materials
Understanding of cultural factors affecting communication development
