Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice clarity, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to weave seamless care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families, ensuring supportive progress during and after therapy sessions.
• Partake in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a consistent approach to care throughout the recovery process.
• Maintain timely and precise documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational norms.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
