Description

- Create individualized therapy plans tailored to immediate needs and broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
- Deliver focused therapeutic intervention one-on-one, emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and families to implement comprehensive care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinic hours.
- Assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy as necessary, ensuring seamless transitions throughout treatment.
- Keep meticulous and timely records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Requirements to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
