Description

• Conduct evaluations for a broad range of patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing structured assessments and observational analysis.
• Create individualized therapy plans tailored to immediate needs and broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused therapeutic intervention one-on-one, emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and families to implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinic hours.
• Assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy as necessary, ensuring seamless transitions throughout treatment.
• Keep meticulous and timely records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the discipline.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Requirements to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
