Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Somerville, MA
Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Somerville, Massachusetts. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to work with K12 students, helping them build critical communication skills that support both academic achievement and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students communication needs
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure cohesive support plans
Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and therapy goals
Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to intervention strategies
Treat a broad range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to inclusive, student-centered services
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
