  • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that focus on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care strategies.
  • Provide education for patients and families, ensuring support for progress beyond clinical sessions.
  • Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring a seamless path of care for patients.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation that aligns with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through continuous learning and peer interaction.

Education

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified at the time of application.

Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
