Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for diverse populations, utilizing standardized measures and observational methods.
• Create bespoke treatment plans that correlate with each patients unique objectives for communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on a variety of areas including language, fluency, and voice.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to ensure integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate ongoing progress beyond in-clinic therapy.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a unified continuum of care.
• Ensure diligent documentation meets all regulatory standards and reflects the utmost in patient care.
• Engage in continuing education and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for non-ASHA-certified candidates.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
