Speech-Language Pathologist Support Communication Skills in Chippewa Valley Schools

Chippewa Valley Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluations and therapy services that help students build essential communication skills for learning and daily interactions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions targeting a variety of speech and language goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and prepare clear reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
