This position involves working directly with a diverse student population to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights to foster student success Utilize evidence-based practices to address a wide range of speech and language disorders Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience providing SLP services in a K-12 educational environment preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with special education laws and IEP processes Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois
